The Real Secret to Building Success Online (in our opinion)

Now you’ve already heard every ‘top tip’ and ‘secret hack’ headline, and we all know there are exceptions to every rule (especially online 🙃), but having built and rebuilt social media communities countless times - we want to give you our best advice to show up for your business online ❤️‍🔥

After helping many small business owners trying their best to manage socials without the resources or time, we want to help businesses feel in control of their socials. It may feel impossible now, but your content can be faster and easier to produce with an understanding of your online building blocks from A ➡️ Z

Here's the sparknotes - consistency is still king 👑

Let’s help you build sustainable change ⬇️ 📈

Getting to The Good Stuff

We don’t want to be giving you social media hints without a plan to actually attain your goals.

If you feel as though you’re not seeing the rewards of your online presence, consider whether your business uses any kind of social media system or strategy, and whether you have schedules, or habits around your posting and content.

It’s easy to just post what we see others posting and hoping for the best, but we’ve created a simple set of steps to help you reach your goals and target audience with a unique voice just like we did for our client below.

Step #1:

🪩 Creating Your Content Bank 🪩

Batch creating your content, and holding on to unused post ideas for future use massively helps you minimise your time spent on the socials.

Spend a few hours at the start of the month forward planning your socials, and keep your ideas locked in a content vault - ready to be used when you’re flat out of ideas. If you’re unsure where to start, check out our template calendar and vault here.

Step #2:

🪩Building a Visual Toolkit 🪩

When posting online, one of our biggest tools is our brand recognition. When posting our content it can be difficult to create content that all fits within our branding. What if you want to post photos one day, tiles the next? Or re-share content?

Creating a ‘Brand Bible’ of frames and icons within your branding can help you create branded content within SECONDS - and is a game changer for small businesses online.

We’ve shown you how we choose to do this on our Instagram, but if you simply don’t have the time - we get it. Explore our pre-made social media frames and icons here

Step #3:

🪩 Creating Content Specific To YOUR Ideal Client 🪩

Now this is probably the MOST ESSENTIAL tip we can offer. Know your personal content requirements and stick to them.

What is right for another brand is not always right for you, and it can be so easy to be drawn into ‘fun’ trends, rather than relevant and authentic material.

Your content should always serve you and your business - NOT the other way around. By creating a series of content pillars focused on your target audiences, you can consistently create posts that will appeal to the right audience, rather than the biggest.

If you’re not sure how to begin creating your own content guidelines, we have created a free resource to help you shape your content for social success. Check out our 7 Step Strategy here.
